Example Conversations to Increase Vaccine Confidence for People with Disabilities

Many people with and without disabilities continue to have questions and concerns about the choice to get the vaccine. When talking to someone who is unsure about getting the vaccine, it is important to listen to their reasons with kindness and without judgement. These videos show how to have a positive and helpful conversation with someone stating they won’t, can’t, or are unsure of getting the vaccine. You can use them to help in your own conversations, to share with others, or used for training purposes.

*Disclaimer: The actors in these videos are fully vaccinated and videos were filmed before updated CDC guidance that all individuals wear masks indoors, even when vaccinated. Be sure to follow your state and local COVID-19 social distancing and mask guidelines before coming into close contact with others.
